πŸ“Œ The S.O.A.P. Method

This journal uses the S.O.A.P. Bible study method:

  • Scripture β€” Read the passage slowly and carefully.
  • Observation β€” What does it say? Note details, repeated words, characters.
  • Application β€” How does this truth apply to my life today?
  • Prayer β€” Respond to God in prayer based on what you've read.

Journal History

Romans 8:1–4 May 1, 2026

Observation: Paul declares there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. The law of the Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death.

Application: I don't need to live under guilt or shame. My identity is "in Christ" β€” this is the foundation of how I walk each day.

Philippians 4:6–7 Apr 28, 2026

Observation: Paul commands us not to be anxious about anything but to pray with thanksgiving. The peace of God guards our hearts and minds.

Prayer: Lord, I give You my anxieties today. Guard my mind with Your peace that I cannot manufacture on my own.
